Throw It Out Thursday - The Office, Part 1

The first part of the Throw Out Fifty Things office assignment involves clarifying your personal and professional brand, one reason it's taken me several weeks to write this post. At age 36, I'm still figuring out who I am and what I want to do when I grow up! LOL Thankfully, I found several articles and questions to help me.

Personalbrandingblog.com - 49 questions to ask yourself
What new things are you learning? What do you bring to the world that is truly yours? And 47 other thought-provoking questions.

Fastcompany.com - The brand called you
"Everyone has a chance to stand out."
"Brand is a promise of the value you'll receive."
"What do I do that adds remarkable, measurable, distinguished, distinctive value?"
"Everything you do -- and everything you choose not to do -- communicates value and character of the brand."

So what did I learn about this brand called 'Michele Cervone Scott'? I am an Improvement Specialist. There's always something that can be improved. I love learning and applying new things then passing the information on to others (an Information Broker.) I challenge the status quo with heart and hope.

My next step in the Throw Out Fifty Things office assignment will be to remove anything that does not reflect who I am and where I'm headed. Wish me luck!

Thanks for this Michelle,
I'm in the process of branding myself (sounds odd to say that) and getting a new website - so this will be helpful!
